Hillary Is the Problem, Not Bernie’s Tone

Hillary cannot understand what is going wrong in 2016.

In 2008, she expected to walk away with the presidency. Then, Obama happened.

In 2016, she expected to walk away with the presidency. Then, Bernie happened.

In each of these instances, there is a common denominator.

Today, her campaign, reeling from going 1 and 6 against Bernie in the last 7 elections came out defiant against Bernie’s calls for a debate in New York.

New York, the adopted home where she served 2 terms as Senator…

Wait, wouldn’t she WANT to debate there? Home turf? I mean, she had this to say about New York in one of the debates:

So I represented New York, and I represented New York on 9/11 when we were attacked. Where were we attacked? We were attacked in downtown Manhattan where Wall Street is. I did spend a whole lot of time and effort helping them rebuild. That was good for New York. It was good for the economy, and it was a way to rebuke the terrorists who had attacked our country.

So, why would she be scared to go there. And her campaign’s reason for not wanting to debate Sanders?

“This is a man who said he’d never run a negative ad ever. He’s now running them. They’re planning to run more,” Joel Benenson, Clinton’s chief strategist, said on CNN. “Let’s see the tone of the campaign he wants to run before we get to any other questions.”

Wait. Bernie is attacking on the issues. Come talk to us when he runs ads on something like this:

Federal prosecutors investigating the possible mishandling of classified materials on Hillary Clinton’s private email server have begun the process of setting up formal interviews with some of her longtime and closest aides, according to two people familiar with the probe, an indication that the inquiry is moving into its final phases.

Or this:

The FBI is now trying to determine whether a crime was committed in the handling of that classified material. It is also examining whether the server was hacked.

One hundred forty-seven FBI agents have been deployed to run down leads, according to a lawmaker briefed by FBI Director James B. Comey. The FBI has accelerated the investigation because officials want to avoid the possibility of announcing any action too close to the election.

Or many number of issues. No, he has stuck to the issues. Personally, I wish he had swung at her on these issues. It calls into question issues like judgement and integrity, but Bernie has abstained.

There is a bigger question here, however. What happened to the Hillary Clinton who, in 2008, said this:

“You should be willing to campaign for every vote. You should be willing to debate anytime, anywhere.”

Well, that’s a bit inconvenient. Oh, and that’s part of a longer video where Hillary rose the specter of assassination when discussing staying in the race against Obama. I mean, of course anything could happen and she should stick in. Just like Robert Kennedy in 1968.

I mean, Bernie could use that mud and sling it her way. Or the Clinton campaign sending around the picture of Obama in Somali elder attire, since she is such an ardent supporter of him now. I mean, his campaign could have addressed her “tone” in 2008:

Plouffe said in a statement: “On the very day that Senator Clinton is giving a speech about restoring respect for America in the world, her campaign has engaged in the most shameful, offensive fear-mongering we’ve seen from either party in this election. This is part of a disturbing pattern that led her county chairs to resign in Iowa, her campaign chairman to resign in New Hampshire, and it’s exactly the kind of divisive politics that turns away Americans of all parties and diminishes respect for America in the world,” said Plouffe.

Maybe she worry more about her and her campaign rather than the tone Sanders is setting.

How MSNBC Just Tried to Help Hillary Beat Bernie on Super Tuesday 3

MSNBC has spiralled into complete and utter irrelevance tonight. I hear you, you thought that happened when Morning Joe played patty cake with Trump over and over as well as Joe Scarborough was taking questions from Hugh Hewitt about seriously considering being Trump’s VP. Oh, and maybe when the Morning Joe crew went full prostrating in front of Trump to lick Il Duce’s shoes.

No, tonight the Hillary Clinton love fest town hall hosted by Chris Matthew’s was one of the most inept, biased, masturbatory affairs EVER on mainstream media. Matthew’s at one point declared Hillary ready to be commander in chief. Seriously.

And what is so crazy about this is that everyone with common sense (not you, MSNBC, sit down) will recognize that Hillary and Chris are BFFs.  And unless under a rock, you will know that Chris’s wife is running for Congress in Maryland’s 8th Congressional District. And Chris’s guests have also been showing love to his wife:

Using Federal Election Commission data and Hardball transcripts, The Intercept has identified 48 frequent guests of Matthews’s program who have made donations to the Kathleen Matthews for Congress campaign. These individuals, their spouses, or their political action committees donated $79,050 as of December 31, 2015 — about 5 percent of the $1.5 million Matthews had raised as of that time.

I hear you: Why does it matter (other than that people hosting town hall’s should be unbiased during it) that Chris and Hillary are close? Well, a good number of Hillary’s donors are also donating to Kathleen Matthews.

Kathleen Matthews, who worked closely with the Clinton Foundation for four years during her time at Marriott (which she just recently left to enter the congressional race), has blown away her primary opponents in terms of fundraising. By the end of 2015, Matthews had raised $1,569,092, FEC records show. Only one of her eight primary opponents — state Sen. Jamie Raskin — had raised more than $1 million by year’s end.

Many of Matthews’ biggest donors have close ties to either the Clinton foundation or the Clintons themselves. As noted by Bloomberg two years ago, 12 families have donated to every single Clinton campaign and charity. Of the 12 families, the two families that have donated the most to the Clintons are both funding Matthews’ campaign. Four families from Bloomberg’s list of biggest Clinton donors have given to the Matthews’ campaign. None of the four live in Maryland, where Matthews is actually running.

For shame, Chris. FOR SHAME.

And, I’m sure many are wondering how MSNBC treated Bernie. He got hard questions and Chuck Todd at times asked him multiple follow-ups. I mean, if you want to see how each were during their respective town halls you can watch the replays:

Dammit MSNBC. I mean, really? Keep in mind, Bernie’s town hall was at 6PM and Hillary’s at 7PM. So, shouldn’t they put them in the same order? No, because they want you to see her’s and screw Bernie!

Clinton May Have Stood Out Front Before, But Now Bernie is Literally Standing Out Front

Let’s say you are reading this and supporting Hillary Clinton now. Let’s look at a recent object lesson to prove she has no qualms about tossing you aside when it is politically expedient to do so. The fun part about this story is the horrible gaffe that started it. Let’s set it up. First, Hillary says this:

“I always get a little chuckle when I hear my opponent talking about doing it,” she said at a rally today in St. Louis, Missouri, referring to universal healthcare. “Well, I don’t know where he was when I was trying to healthcare in ’93 and ’94 standing up against the insurance companies, standing up against the drug companies.”

This was quickly refuted by Mike Casca, the Rapid Response Director for Bernie Sanders:

Before moving on, can we just pause for a moment and consider that Hillary is really unravelling. Following the remarks the day before about Nancy Reagan and then this, is there any doubts that she has no filter and will say anything to get ahead.

Anyways, here she is trying to say that Bernie Sanders was absent when she was working for healthcare and then the Sanders campaign proves he was right behind her, supporting her.

Oh, and she sent this:

And for those unable to read what Hillary Clinton wrote to Bernie:

“To Bernie Sanders with thanks for your commitment to real health care access for all Americans…”

Wow. So, any reasonable person seeing all of this would think that Hillary really appreciated the work Bernie did for “real health care access for all Americans.” Well, that was 1993 and Bernie wasn’t standing in her way. Now she is doing this:

Clinton’s communications director Jen Palmieri, however, told reporters it is “ridiculous” to call Clinton’s remark about Sanders today a gaffe and that the video of Sanders behind Clinton “proves our point.”

“He is literally standing behind her,” Palmieri said. “She is literally the one out front.”

It’s actually a bit sad to see Hillary come to this, but it’s also a telling indictment on who she is. Bernie Sanders obviously was a significant advocate, by her admission, in her fight for Hillarycare in 1993-1994. Bernie is advocating to go further and Hillary is literally the conservative in the Democratic primary, fighting to conserve the legacy of Obama. Bernie want to move forward and continue toward the best system possible. Hillary has found herself wistfully looking back and reminiscing about her progressive fight in the 90’s while fighting Bernie’s call for progress today.

But Bernie was supporting her then, backing her up literally.

And Bernie is urging the fight forward now, with Hillary opposing him.

Two things here:

  1. Hillary will not hesitate to cut those down that oppose her, even if they were past allies.
  2. Her gaffe, and yes Jen it’s a damn gaffe, proves that Bernie was there in 1993 and in 2016. She was there in 1993 but is the opposition now.

So, Jen, here’s the problem for you: He is literally the one out front now. And she is standing behind.

Republicans Would Be Overjoyed to Run Against Hillary

Candidate Obama made a very telling observation in a debate on October 30, 2007:

One last point I want to make: Part of the reason that Republicans, I think, are obsessed with you, Hillary, is because that’s a fight they’re very comfortable having. It is the fight that we’ve been through since the ’90s. And part of the job of the next president is to break the gridlock and to get Democrats and independents and Republicans to start working together to solve these big problems, like health care or climate change or energy.

And here we are in 2016 and we still have the same big problems. And Hillary has added all sorts of problems to her litany of scandals. And here is the worst part: it really does not matter whether they are true. Do you believe Trump or Cruz will look at a scandal like Benghazi and say, “Well, she did the best she could in a stressful situation?” Hell no. They will slam her. Trump will rent out theaters and show 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi for hours on end, nonstop. And the press will be giving him all sorts of free air time.

They’re already gearing up to destroy her.

And let’s be honest. If the media wasn’t obsessed over Rubio making small hands jokes and Trump defending the size of his stimulus package, and also they’re infatuation with Hillary as the coronated candidate since 2009, they would be going wall to wall with coverage over the immunity being granted to her former staffer who set up her email server.

And if they still did real journalism they wouldn’t let her get away with the retroactive classification lie. From “Statement from the Inspectors General of the Intelligence Community and the Department of State Regarding the Review of Former Secretary Clinton’s Emails” released on July 24, 2015:

The IC IG found four emails containing classified IC-derived information in a limited sample of 40 emails of the 30,000 emails provided by former Secretary Clinton. The four emails, which have not been released through the State FOIA process, did not contain classification markings and/or dissemination controls. These emails were not retroactively classified by the State Department; rather these emails contained classified information when they were generated and, according to IC classification officials, that information remains classified today. This classified information should never have been transmitted via an unclassified personal system.

This is a huge issue and Clinton supporters and the DNC are naive and playing a very dangerous game with a very damaged candidate. She is not worth it.

Bernie Sanders has shown overwhelmingly he can run strong against ALL the Republican candidates:

And so far no scandals have come out. Heck, he has had a consistent, verified platform his entire political career. Hillary has evolved constantly.

And Hillary is clearly seen as dishonest, while Bernie is seen as honest.

And, we still have not seen the transcripts from Hillary’s Wall Street speeches.
